Coleslaw and Dressing
Ingredients for Dressing:
1/4 cup vinegar.
1 cup of Irene’s Mayonnaise
1/2 cup sugar.
1 teaspoon celery seed.
1 teaspoon celery salt.
Salt-and-pepper to taste.
Ingredients for coleslaw:
6 cups shredded cabbage
1 cup (about 3) shredded carrots
(optional) 1/2 cup chopped or thinly sliced green bell pepper
Directions:
In a large bowl, combine mayonnaise, vinegar, sugar, and seasonings to make the dressing. Add cabbage, carrots, and green pepper; toss to coat well. Cover and chill until ready to serve.
